Hand-cast and hand-hammered pieces are one of a kind and carry small marks of the process. Metal darkens naturally over time and can be polished.

Brass and bell metal darken naturally over time. Dry them after washing, and use a polish made for brass and bronze when you want the shine back.
Wipe them with a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry them straight away. Do not soak them or put them in a dishwasher.
