Makers on JADUZ set their own prices and keep ownership of their work. JADUZ vets makers, lists and promotes their pieces, takes orders, arranges delivery and collects Cash on Delivery. By default we keep 15% of the item price as commission, never of the delivery fee, and add the rest to your wallet when an order settles. You can withdraw from ৳500.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you, the maker, and JADUZ. They apply from when you apply to sell until your shop is closed and paid out. Our Terms of Service apply too, and the Maker Privacy Notice explains how we handle your data. If JADUZ staff set up your shop for you, these terms apply from when you claim it.
Applying and approval
You must be 18 or older and make the pieces yourself or in your own workshop. We don't accept resold factory goods.
Give us true details: your name, craft, district, portfolio, and proof that you make the work.
Our curators decide whether to approve your shop, and may say no without giving every reason.
Before you can list pieces, you upload the front and back of your NID and we verify who you are.
Listings
You set your own prices, and you're responsible for making sure photos, descriptions, materials, sizes and making times are true.
List only work you made and have the right to sell. No copied designs, counterfeits, or illegal or unsafe goods.
Our curators approve each piece before it goes live, and may ask for changes, reject it or take it down.
To promote your work, you let JADUZ show your photos, name, story and pieces on JADUZ, in ads, on social media and in shopping feeds while your shop is open, and for a reasonable time after it closes while we remove them. The work stays yours.
We may translate your listing into English or Bangla. You can ask us to fix a translation at any time.
Orders and making
Accept or decline each order within 48 hours. An order you don't answer in time is cancelled.
Keep your stock and “accepting orders” setting up to date, so buyers can't order what you can't make.
Pack each piece well and have it ready when the courier collects. Ship made-to-order pieces within the making time on the listing.
Buyer details are private. You see the buyer's first name and district, and the courier gets the address. Never contact buyers outside JADUZ or use their details for anything else.
Commission and fees
JADUZ keeps a commission on the item price of each delivered piece: 15% by default. Some categories, or your shop, may have a different rate. We'll tell you in writing first, and every order shows its rate.
There's never commission on the delivery fee. That goes to JADUZ to pay the courier.
In a JADUZ campaign you choose to join, you fund the discount, and commission is charged on the discounted price.
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the default commission. Orders already placed keep their rate.
Getting paid
The courier collects the cash for JADUZ. After delivery, your earning (the item price minus commission) waits in your wallet as pending.
It becomes available to withdraw once the 72-hour claim window after delivery has passed, the courier has paid JADUZ for the order, and no claim is open.
You can withdraw from ৳500 to your own bKash, Nagad or bank account. We send each payout ourselves and record its transaction reference in your wallet.
The payout account must be in your name or your business's name.
You're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
Returns, claims and refunds
If a buyer refuses a parcel at the door, you pay the courier's return fee. We take it from your wallet, and the piece comes back to you.
If a buyer reports damage, a defect, the wrong piece or a piece not as described within the claim window, we review it with photos and may ask for your side.
If we approve a refund, it comes out of that order's earning and JADUZ gives back its commission. If we approve a replacement, you make and ship it.
If your wallet goes below zero, your next earnings cover it first.
We protect you from serial refusers by confirming every order by phone and blocking numbers that keep refusing.
Help from JADUZ staff
JADUZ staff can open your shop to help you, for example to fix a listing or handle an order. Every change they make is logged under their name.
Conduct
Be honest with buyers and with us. No fake reviews, fake orders or invented discounts.
Don't ask buyers to buy pieces they found on JADUZ from you directly.
Follow Bangladeshi law, including the rules for the goods you make.
Pausing and closing a shop
You can ask to close your shop at any time. We finish your open orders and claims, then pay out your available balance.
We may pause or close a shop that breaks these terms, gets repeated valid complaints, or gave false details. We'll tell you why and pay out what you've earned, minus refunds, return fees and anything you owe.
We delete your NID and proof of making 90 days after your shop closes.
Responsibility
You're responsible for your pieces: that they're safe, as described, and yours to sell. JADUZ is responsible for running the shop, orders and payouts as these terms describe. As far as the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect losses.
Changes and law
We'll tell you about changes to these terms in your dashboard at least 14 days before they apply, unless the law requires a faster change. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka decide any dispute we can't settle together.
