To vet and pay makers, JADUZ collects your NID, proof that you make your work, your pickup address and your payout account. Only curators and super admins can see your NID, every view is logged, and it's deleted 90 days after your application is rejected or your shop closes. Your shop name, story and pieces are public once you're approved.
Who this is for
This notice is for makers who apply to sell on JADUZ or have a shop on it. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which covers everything you do on JADUZ as a visitor or buyer.
What we collect from makers
Your Google sign-in name and email, and your mobile number.
Your application: shop name, craft, district, story and portfolio photos.
Your identity: the front and back of your NID, and a photo or short video of you at work as proof of making.
Your shop: cover, portrait and studio photos, your quote, and your listings.
Your pickup address, for the courier.
Your payout account: bKash, Nagad or bank details and the name on the account, collected when you first withdraw.
Your activity: orders, accept and decline decisions, wallet entries, withdrawals, and messages with our team.
What's public
Once you're approved: your shop name, craft, district, story, quote, the photos you choose, your pieces, badges and reviews.
Never public: your NID, proof of making, phone number, pickup address, payout account and earnings.
Portfolio photos from your application stay private unless you choose to show them on your shop.
How we use it
To decide on your application and confirm who you are.
To run your shop: list your pieces, send you orders, and book the courier from your pickup address.
To pay you and keep accurate financial records.
To promote your work on JADUZ, in ads, on social media and in shopping feeds.
To prevent fraud and meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
Who can see it
Your NID and proof of making: only curators and super admins. Each view opens through a link that expires after 60 seconds, and is logged with the viewer's name.
Your pickup address and phone: the staff who arrange delivery, and the courier.
Your payout account and wallet: the finance staff who pay you.
Service providers that run JADUZ for us: Supabase stores your files and data, and Vercel hosts the site. The Privacy Policy has the full list.
Authorities, when Bangladeshi law requires it.
We don't sell makers' data.
How long we keep it
NID and proof of making: while your shop is open. They're deleted 90 days after your application is rejected or your shop closes.
Photos of rejected or archived pieces: 30 days, unless something still shows them.
Orders, wallet entries, withdrawals and staff logs: permanently, because they're financial records.
When your shop closes, it and its pieces stop being listed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when you close your shop. We keep what the law, our financial records, or open orders, claims or payouts need. Contact us using the details below.
Keeping it safe
Identity documents sit in private storage that the public can't reach. Files are checked when you upload them, staff sign in with a second step, and every staff view and change is logged.
Changes
We'll update the date at the top, and tell you in your dashboard if a change affects how we handle your documents.
