Terms of Service

Last updated 9 October 2026

JADUZ is a marketplace: independent Bangladeshi makers make and sell the pieces, and JADUZ runs the shop, confirms orders, arranges delivery and collects Cash on Delivery. By ordering or signing in, you agree to these terms. If a piece arrives damaged, wrong or not as described, tell us within 72 hours of delivery.

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and JADUZ, of Dhaka, Bangladesh. They apply when you browse, order, sign in or write a review. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Makers also agree to the Maker Terms.

Who sells what

Each piece is made and sold by the maker named on it, or by JADUZ where JADUZ is the maker. JADUZ vets every maker, lists their pieces, takes the order, arranges delivery and collects payment for them. The maker is responsible for making the piece as described. JADUZ is responsible for running your order and handling your claims.

Your order

  • Prices are in Bangladeshi taka. Delivery is added at checkout, and the total you see before you place the order is the total you pay.
  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we confirm it by phone and the maker accepts it.
  • We call to confirm every order. We may cancel an order we can't confirm, one that looks fraudulent, or one with a price or stock error. You then pay nothing.
  • Made-to-order pieces are made for you after you order, and each piece shows its making time. Handmade pieces vary a little in colour, size and finish, and that isn't a defect.
  • A maker may decline an order they can't fulfil. That part of your order is then cancelled at no cost.

Cash on Delivery

  • You pay the courier in cash when the parcel arrives. You pay nothing online.
  • Check the parcel before you pay. You may refuse it at the door and pay nothing.
  • Refusing parcels again and again, or ordering with no plan to accept, can stop your number from ordering with Cash on Delivery.

Delivery

We deliver across Bangladesh. Fees and usual delivery times are on the Delivery page. Times are estimates, and we'll tell you if something is delayed. Please give a correct address and a number we can reach.

Damaged, wrong or not as described

  • If a piece arrives damaged, defective, wrong or not as described, open a claim from your order within 72 hours of delivery, with photos.
  • We review every claim and offer a replacement or a refund. We send refunds to your bKash, Nagad or bank account.
  • We don't take returns for a change of mind, because most pieces are handmade, often one of a kind or made to order. Personalised pieces can't be returned unless they're faulty.

These rights are in addition to your rights under Bangladeshi consumer law.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure, because you're responsible for what's done on JADUZ through it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Reviews and what you post

  • Only buyers whose order was delivered can review it. Reviews must be honest and about the piece and the service.
  • No abuse, personal details, spam, or photos you don't have the right to share. We may hide reviews that break these rules.
  • You keep ownership of your reviews and photos, and you let JADUZ show them on JADUZ and in its marketing, free of charge.

Prices, campaigns and honest signals

Sale prices come only from JADUZ campaigns with real start and end times. A “was” price is the lowest price in the 30 days before the campaign started. Stock counts and other signals come from live data. If a price is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and tell you.

What you may not do

  • Use JADUZ for fraud, fake orders or someone else's details.
  • Copy makers' photos, designs or text without permission.
  • Scrape, overload or try to break into JADUZ.

Makers' work and the JADUZ name

Pieces, photos, stories and designs belong to their makers. The JADUZ name, logo and website belong to JADUZ. You may share links and screenshots for personal use.

Responsibility

We do our best to keep JADUZ running and its listings accurate, but the site may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. As far as Bangladeshi law allows, JADUZ isn't liable for indirect losses, and our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Please contact us first, and we'll try to put things right. If we can't, the courts of Dhaka will decide. You can also complain to the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in force when you placed an order apply to that order.
